OA Edge Low Energy ADA Sensor

Swinging Doors

NABCO’s OA Edge Low Energy ADA Sensor is an affordable way to add extra pedestrian protection to low-energy swing doors. The OA Edge Low Energy ADA sensor is a bar-type sensor that can be mounted on the approach side of the door to prevent the door from closing on slower-moving traffic, such as the elderly or handicapped, until they’re through the entrance and completely out of the path of the door. The OA Edge Low Energy ADA sensor can be mounted on the swing side to stop the door from opening in the event that someone is in the swing path while a pedestrian is approaching.

The OA Edge Low Energy ADA sensor enhances the performance of Low Energy door applications while exceeding the ANSI A156.19 standard for safety.
